The Universität Regensburg, founded in 1962, is a modern campus university located in the south of the medieval city of Regensburg. It offers outstanding study conditions with excellent support and counseling services, especially for international students. The UR offers more than 150 courses of study across its 12 faculties (Bachelor, Master, State Examination and Doctorate), offering programs in scientific, economic & technical fields, as well as in the humanities, medicine and law. Currently, 20,000 students study at the UR, and about 1,500 of them are international students (as of winter semester 2025/26).
